Collaboration Between UEMS-EACCME and EAHP in Developing ECPHA

The UEMS-EACCME is pleased to have supported the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) in the development of a robust accreditation process for hospital pharmacy education in Europe.

While EACCME is not involved in the accreditation itself, it contributed to shaping the European Council for Pharmacy Education Accreditation (ECPHA) by offering expertise during the early stages of framework development. ECPHA is a platform specifically designed to support and accredit high-quality continuing education tailored to hospital pharmacists.

This initiative, led by EAHP, aims to ensure consistent educational standards and promote professional growth among pharmacy specialists across Europe.

EACCME and UEMO Sign an Agreement on CME/CPD Accreditation in General Practice/Family Medicine

In March 2024, the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) and the European Union of General Practitioners (UEMO) signed a collaboration agreement in the field of accreditation. 

This agreement enables EACCME to accredit continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD) activities in the field of General Practice/Family Medicine.
